Where Are They Now? Michigan Community Service Commission

This year, five of the 25 commissioners appointed to the Michigan Community Service Commission are MSU’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations alumni. Scott Hiipakka, Dan Olsen, Robert Kolt, Aubrey Moon and Corey Utley were all appointed by the Governor of Michigan to help meet the goals of the MCSC. Each member of the MCSC is an active member in leading Michigan’s conversation on community service.

The Commission was designed ensure that the MCSC’s goals are met by allocating funds to community service programs across Michigan, to bring non-profit companies to the public and to recognize the importance of community service.
